It may be one word, a one-liner or one message or the impact of the daring and deeds of one individual.
Think of one words: "Imagine" or "Che" Many one-liners stand the test of time and the actions of one can send a strong message. e.g. the African American Lady on the bus in the south or the unknown student standing in the square in China while the tanks rolled on

OK We've pretty much feasted at the smorgasbord of of food. Wheres the Beef?
or are we to be gluttons for the thoughts of dead old guys ?
with this much "food" is brilliance now to spring forth or are we to be obese an d lethargic with our own minds?

The thread by OkValleyGirl re. "In Memory of..." reminds us of the pain and sorrow of those that have lost the children.
The Weeping Tree - By Zelley
When the knock on the door came at Midnight, it was time for family, friends and neighbors to visit the "weeping tree".
But a river of tears, teardrop by lonely teardrop will never wash away the pain and sorrow for the lost hopes, wishes and dreams of their lost little children.

One must take care in seeking the greater meaning of happiness.,
Would you rely on the words of Jonathan Swift: "Happiness is a perpetual possession of being well deceived..."

>>>>Why restrick our thought to only bc children? A good honest question. Why is it we tend to "pick and choose" who we weep for. Tradgedy is world wide and we should weep for all who are lost to us.

Re the focus on BC - If we follow the thread - there was reference to In Memory of this was followed by "The Weeping Tree" (no specific reference to only BC children) Then, the thread got focused on BC Lions. The BC Children issue is a comparision of lost children vs a lost football game (this is BC related) I hope that clarifies the issue of who we should weep for
