It was the day JFK was shot in Dallas I was in a French Class when the news broke, and all classes were closed for the rest of the day, and this was in Canada.

Well, I knew he was shot, I certainly didn't know which day ... I'm so highly educated -- not. When my dad was alive, he could have told you where he was and what he was doing that day ... I remember him mentioning it once ...

I remember where I was when the space shuttle blew up, when Ben Johnson tested positive and when Princess Diana died, its funny how some events in life are almost like bookmarks in certain peoples lives. You know where you were, what you were doing.
Anyway, I wasn't born when JFK was killed, but my mom and dad have the newspapers from that whole week and I have read threw them many times.

When Princess Diana passed away, I was camping in Princeton. We heard about it on the radio when we were driving home. We have all of the newspapers from that week and the weeks following. I have the CD that Elton John released with the tribute to Diana.
Yeah, I know that was off the topic of JFK ...

The stage was set for six years of Civil Rights protest and troubles. Jan. 14, 1968 George Wallace: " segregation now, segregation tomorrow and segregation forever" - this would be a terrible claim.
e.g. Sept. 15th. A black church in Birmingham, Ala. was bombed with the death of four girls.
Nov. 22, 1963: President Kennedy killed in Dallas. Texan L BJ Johnson becomes the new president.
In the movie JFK that aired last night, the problem is every conceivable conspiracy theory was laid bare - everybody did it, so nobody did it. Russians, Cubans, Louisiana Mob, Insiders etc etc.
