Just thinking out loud. An idea for a fund raiser for the KVR restoration. How about a 2004 or perpetual calander of trains using the KVR near Myra. There must be lots of photos from the past, old steam, or early diesel trains. How about CPR archieves,or B.R.M.N.A. ? An interested railfan. Anyone else interested?

One of the things that I inherited from my Grandfather was a book called "Steam on the Kettle Valley - A Railway Heritage Remembered".
Granddad was a railway guy for a good portion of his life and the book, with it's pictures and interesting stories, was one of his favorites. The book was published in 1995-96 by Sono Nis Press in co-operation with the Royal British Columbia Museum.
I had to pull it down from the bookshelf the other day for a quick thumb through...

Thanks for the ideas. I am going to contact CPR Historian and a few others. I am sure the pictures are out there somewhere.
