I was born and raised in Kelowna. All my family is still there. I now live at the coast and I have been watching my past/part of my life, go up in smoke (literally). It has been extremely difficult to deal with. But, being here and not knowing any of the details, just my imagination would have been worse. Thanks to Castanet for doing a great job. I wish other radio stations had done the same. We have two sons in Kamloops affected by the fire there and a daughter in Penticton affected by the new fire. Our hearts and prayers are with everyone. Our heartfelt gratitude to the firefighters!
