I live in Toronto and have family in Kelowna. Without Castanet I would have gone nuts trying to find out what was going on. This site has been fantastic - thank you!

I was born and raised in Kelowna, but I am now living in Victoria. Have lots of family and friends living in Kelowna. Thank you Castanet for your great work. P.S. I passed your website address to a worried friend in Switzerland so she could have up-to-date information.

From the Sunshine Coast...........family in the Interior.
Very good coverage. Stayed with the page on Friday night / Sat morning till about 1:00 am. Kept refreshing as the info was being added to every 10 - 20 min or so. Good on you for the 1st class coverage.

Someone on the previous page could not vote. Is anyone else here having trouble voting? I don't know if mine counted - it was 26 before I posted.

I'm from the US -- New England area. I have a friend who lives in Kelowna and she directed me here so I could keep updated while she's off line at another location during this hell.
I will say I'm VERY disapointed in the media coverage in my area -- it's not being mentioned AT ALL. I think that's sad because I know that people would be willing to send in donations to help if they only knew this was going on!
Prayers are with you all - especially for rain!
